What We Offer: “Taiyo Munch” is a high-protein, low-sugar snack bar that is gluten-free, vegan, and free from the 9 major allergens—milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, soy, wheat, and sesame—crafted to meet the needs of students (and adults) with dietary restrictions, offering a nutritious, delicious, and safe option for all.
With three fun flavors—Birthday Cake, Chocolate, and Apple & Salted Caramel—and rigorous testing on every production run, we ensure every bar is 7g protein, ≤3g sugar, vegan, gluten-free, and “school-safe” for peace of mind.
Taiyo means “sun” in Japanese—a symbol of warmth, energy, and togetherness. I grew up cherishing sunny days, when light lifted our spirits, fueled our energy, and brought people closer. That’s the feeling I wanted to capture with Taiyo Munch—snacks that shine as bright as the sun.
Rooted in my Japanese heritage, I’ve always valued quality, balance, wellness, and the joy of sharing food. My years playing baseball taught me about teamwork, performance, and fueling your body the right way. Back then, I often wished for a snack that wasn’t just tasty and energizing, but safe for everyone to enjoy—without allergy worries.
